Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and viopep (operated by Vio Solutions and Research Supplies LLC), referred to here as "viopep," "we," and "us." They apply whenever you browse our site, create an account, or place an order. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or buy from us.

You must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to buy and handle these materials where you live. By placing an order, you confirm that you are buying for legitimate laboratory or analytical research and that the information you give us is accurate. We may ask you to identify your research field at checkout, and we may ask for more details about an order before we ship it.

Everything viopep sells is for laboratory and analytical research only. Our products are not for human or veterinary use or consumption, and they are not foods, drugs, cosmetics, or supplements. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If that isn't your purpose, please don't buy from us.

Verifying your research purpose

When you place an order, you confirm that you are buying for laboratory or analytical research, whether through a lab, institution, university, company, or another research setting. To keep our products in the right hands, we may ask for details that confirm this before we ship, such as your organization, your research field, or a short description of how the material will be used in your work.

If we ask, please reply within 5 business days. If we don’t receive what we need in that time, or the information doesn’t satisfy us that the order is for research use, we may cancel the order and refund what you paid.

viopep is a supplier of research chemicals. We are not a pharmacy, a medical provider, or a compounding pharmacy under Section 503A, or an outsourcing facility under Section 503B, of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The statements on this site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and nothing here is medical advice.

Our Learn section, glossary, FAQ, and tools such as the reconstitution calculator are general reference material for researchers. They are meant to explain terminology and help with laboratory arithmetic. They are not instructions for human or animal use, not medical advice, and not a recommendation for any experiment. Please check any figures against primary sources before relying on them.

If we have reason to believe a product is intended for anything other than laboratory research, such as human or animal use, clinical or therapeutic use, or resale for consumption, we may decline or cancel the order, suspend or close your account, and refuse future sales. We may do this without prior notice. If we cancel an order for this reason before it ships, we'll refund it.

You are responsible for:

• understanding the hazards of the materials you order and having the training, equipment, and facilities to handle them safely;
• storing, using, and disposing of materials properly;
• following all local, state, federal, and international laws that apply to buying, owning, and using research materials.
• Laws differ by location, so please confirm yours before you order.

Please use the site only for lawful purposes and for shopping with us. You agree not to:

• copy or collect content in bulk, including with bots or scrapers;
• interfere with the security or operation of the site;
• share your account or let anyone else use it.

You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity under your account. The site may occasionally be unavailable or contain mistakes. We may correct errors and change content, prices, and availability at any time.

• Order acceptance. Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email or on the site.
• Pricing. Prices are in U.S. dollars and don't include taxes or shipping unless we say so. Prices and stock can change without notice, and we may correct pricing errors.
• Payment. We accept credit and debit cards, Zelle, and cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency transactions can't be reversed once confirmed, so please send the exact amount shown. If the amount is wrong, contact us and we'll work it out.
• Our right to cancel. We may cancel or refuse any order, including after payment, if we can't verify it, if it doesn't pass our age or research-use confirmation, if the address is one we can't ship to, if we suspect fraud, or if there's a pricing or stock error. If we cancel, we'll refund what you paid.
• Your cancellations. You can cancel only before the order has been processed for shipping. See our Shipping & Returns Policy.

We currently ship within the United States only. We do not ship to PO Boxes. Please double-check your address before you pay, because we can't be responsible for orders sent to an address you entered incorrectly. Processing times, tracking, and lost-package handling are covered in our Shipping & Returns Policy. Responsibility for a package passes to you once the carrier takes possession of it.

All sales are final, with the exceptions below.

Because we can't verify how materials are handled or stored after they leave us, delivered products can't be returned. If your order arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or doesn't match the certificate of analysis for its lot, we'll make it right as described in our Shipping & Returns Policy, including the deadlines and steps listed there.

If something is wrong with your order, please email support@viopep.com before contacting your bank. We aim to reply within 1 business day and resolve legitimate issues directly. If a dispute is opened before you've contacted us, we'll respond to your bank with the full order record, including delivery confirmation and the terms and acknowledgments you accepted at checkout. Unauthorized transactions are investigated promptly, and confirmed fraud is refunded in full. We may close the account of a customer who disputes an order that was delivered as described.

We work to describe our products accurately and to document each batch with a certificate of analysis. Even so, products and the site are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind beyond those stated in these terms or required by law, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise any experimental result.

To the fullest extent the law allows, viopep is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or business interruption, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order the claim relates to. After delivery, we are not responsible for how products are handled, stored, or used. Some places don't allow certain limits, so these apply only as far as the law permits.

If your misuse of a product, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law leads to a claim against viopep, you agree to defend us and cover our reasonable losses and legal costs from that claim. This also protects our owners, employees, affiliates, and agents.

The viopep name, logo, designs, photographs, written content, and site code belong to us or our licensors. You may view and print site content for your own non-commercial use. Please don't copy, republish, resell, or use our brand without written permission. Buying a product doesn't give you any license to patents or other rights in it. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by things beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier or customs delays, supplier problems, severe weather, government action, or system outages. We'll try to keep you informed where we can. If such an event delays an unshipped order by more than 90 days, either of us may cancel it and we'll refund what you paid.

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

If we have a disagreement, please start by emailing support@viopep.com. We both agree to try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days before filing anything formal.

If we can't resolve it informally,

• The dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in United States, Texas, and you agree to their jurisdiction.

Either of us may go to court to seek an injunction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.

We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date, and we may email you about significant changes. If you keep using the site or place an order after a change, you accept the updated terms. Orders placed before a change are governed by the terms that applied when you placed them.

These terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the full agreement between you and viopep about the site and our products. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Headings are for convenience only. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.
